& Condition For Admission Into Membership of the Association
A company registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission and capable of supplying the pest management industry with products such as chemicals and equipment may apply for membership and be considered for corporate membership in the association.
- A company registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission capable of providig the pest control services and management, and who has applied for membership of the association, with at least a director who is a holder of first degree/HND in helath related fields or in any of the sciences shall be elignle for consideration as a practicing member of the association.
- A company registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission capable of of providing the pest control servicees and management, and who has applied for membership of the association, with at least a director who has a minimum of West Africa Examination Certificate (WAEC) or National Examination Council Certificate (NECO) or has sat for these Examinations and in addition has minimum of 5 Years field experience in pest management services.
- Any individual who is a holder of first degree/HND or an undergraduate(student) in health related fields or in any of the science shall be eligible for consideration as an associate member of the association after remedial course/training to be organized by the association.
- Any individual who is a holder of West Africa Examination Certificate (WAEC) or National Examination Council Certificate (NECO) of has sat for these Examinations and in addition has minimum of two yeras field experience in pest management with a company duly certified and registered by the Pest Control Association of Nigeria shall be eligble for consideration as an associate member of the association after remedial course/training to be organized by the association.
Membership Application Process
Step 1: Complete the Application Form
- Download and fill out the PECAN Membership Application Form.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee of N10,000.
- Submit the completed application form along with the payment receipt.
Step 2: Await Application Review
- Once your application has been submitted, it will be reviewed by the PECAN membership committee. If your application is approved, you will be required to pay the following additional fees:
- Membership Acceptance Fee
- Annual Dues for the year (check here)
- PECAN Training Fee (if deemed necessary)
Required Documents
To complete your application, please prepare the following documents:
- CAC Registration Certificate: Proof of your business’s legal registration.
Completed - Application Form: Ensure all sections are filled out accurately.
- Payment Receipt: Proof of payment for the application fee of N10,000.
- Training Certificates: Copies of any relevant training certificates, both domestic and international.
- Photographs: Images of your staff, equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE), storage facilities, and office space.
- Certified True Copy Affidavit: A legally certified affidavit to authenticate your documents.
- Additional Documents: Any other documents as requested by the membership committee.
