2026 PECAN Annual General Meeting, Annual Training & Mandatory Pesticide Handlers Certification Programme

Theme: Strengthening Professional Pest Management Practices in Nigeria: Competence, Compliance, Innovation and Public Health Protection.

The Pest Control Association of Nigeria (PECAN) invites pest management professionals and pesticide handlers across Nigeria to its 2026 Annual Training and Mandatory Pesticide Handlers Certification Programme, alongside the Association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM).

This programme is designed to strengthen professional competence, promote regulatory compliance, encourage innovation and improve public health protection through responsible pest management practices.

The Annual Training is a mandatory prerequisite for practising pest management professionals in Nigeria, providing an important opportunity for industry practitioners to update their knowledge, improve technical skills and remain aligned with evolving professional standards and best practices.

The programme will also feature the PECAN Annual General Meeting, which provides members with an opportunity to review the Association’s activities, discuss industry development and contribute to its strategic direction.
